FF and 00 means the dump was not done properly (using UltraISO uncheck enbale volume filter, etc) normal disc label is... 2000 RTM -> W2~ 2000 SP1 -> SP1~ 2000 SP2 -> SP2~ 2000 SP3 -> YRM~ 2000 SP4 -> ZRM~ P -> Professional A -> Advanced Server S -> Server FPP -> Full Package Product OEM -> DSP or OEM recovery CCP -> Upgrade sometime files also have ULTRAISO string.
I have a "few" Blueray rips and a "few less" DVD rips and I have questioned my self about the same thing. You could verify your own rips if you open your optical disc in a hex editor and calculate checksum of all content and compare with your ripped image. ImgBurn and (recently) UltraISO support 1:1 rip. You would need (or at least I could highly recommend AnyDVD) for decrypting. I use CyberLink PowerDVD and AnyDVD does the job with movies that has Cinavia embedded. btw, I refer to movies only in this context. To validate downloaded images, Offtopic, agree. Naah , MDL is blessed with skilled and friendly Moderators. That's for you alone to make your own opinion. Of course you can, you will alter the checksum thoe. And any modification small as a bitflip is by definition modified/homebrew/fake in this context.
But I was just asking questions. What do you mean by "like that"? Do you mean I have to post the specific hashes and links to my questions?
This kind of problem is obvious. There is very little credible data on the Internet. You need to verify it yourself. Instead of asking the uploader whether there is any problem with the data, I define it as a garbage site on IA. Any data with pictures is not real.
