Have not tested it but in terms of working condition i don't think it needs to be fixed. To regain original from Microsoft with matching checksum, yes, it must be fixed. Files looks complete and untampered, with a verified SHA-1 (at least) and size (also helpfull) it's possible to do that. (we could do that right now but without a verified checksum to compare against it would be just another homebrew unfortunately)
It's normal that you can't find that tool, because you are neither an insider nor have you signed a confidentiality agreement, so such a tool will not be distributed to you.[msft]
Added "Restored" image MS Windows Security Update CD February 2004 - French File: Security Update CD February 2004 French.iso [Restored Image] Deleted If you have downloaded this image, please delete it. It is not verified. It has no timestamp confirmation. It may have a different label Label (*_fra_13.iso *_fra_15.iso)
There is new iso, but weird there is no cdimage in header, files date is same but iso date says created 05/02/2004 13:00:00 and also modified at this exact date too.
@Antor2 I did'nt see the picture, my bad But that is excellent news Would it be possible to ask for a redump of the physical CD? It would be nice to see total size and SHA-1 (padded) Maybe also some pictures of the kit (same as the German kit) The second CD is not much to collect but it would be nice to see a dump/picture. Kind regards
Since all images at this point have same date/time stamp: 2004-02-05 12:00:00:00 except the German image 6e100026f42915c9f79c560d7f4d98aaf9c43e2f *Security9_deu_15.iso 2004-02-11 12:00:00:00 This could very well be totally legit, if someone with this physical CD kit could confirm this anomaly that would be appreciated.
