Hi guys, does any1 have the SHA1 data for the following versions? Are they verified (no padding and all that crap)

Win98 FE OEM Spanish
Win98 FE Retail Spanish

Win98 FE V2 OEM Spanish
Win98 FE V2 Retail Spanish

Win98 SE OEM Spanish
Win98 SE Retail Spanish

I don't have the original disc so if anyone can confirm the hash on Windows 98 Second Edition OEM (Finnish) from original disc, just to be sure?

I found two different iso's from different sources.

ISO1 SHA1: 78CDB9B30AF6D48E613AA8117852439B01E7FCDD
ISO2 SHA2: FE3DE15F4CB2515A65460B5ED5D6B4C110F9DAFB

After mounting both images and making new images with UltraISO with Enable ISO Volume Filter I get same hashes on both 78CDB9B30AF6D48E613AA8117852439B01E7FCDD. So I think these both are made from the same OEM disc.

Question about burning the images to CD. I don't know if I remember this correctly after 15 years or so but I think it was possible to burn image into CD and when making image of that burned disc you would end up with the same hash. I burned Win98SE but after making image of that disc with ultraiso with enable iso volume filter I get different hash on the new image.

 

Nevermind it had to be burned with UltraISO.

 

Is this iso right?

Hello everyone!

Greetings! I hope it's okay to revive this thread, but I am looking for a German Windows 98 SE CD-Image. It is the file "win98se_112_stepup_19990505.iso" or "de_windows_98_se_update_edition.iso". This is supposed to have the hash value of "edb3acd732fd2b1f74b82f573cb41af15e0fd563". I think MaJo24 posted a delta patch for this a while ago from "741cdad335ec7209b6e4ccf5e69c4deb65dd2ebe", which I have. Unfortunately, the patch's URL is offline. It used to be hosted on anonfile with the filename "w98s.7z".

Does anyone still have that patch? Or could you help me out in any other way?

I would be forever grateful.
