    Hello

I have a 2 year old HP dv9223tx. It has a Phoenix Bios.
    It has Bios F.2D - sp42187 Setup.exe.

I have tried these utilities but I get no Info tables as mentioned.

    SetupRw.exe
    SLIC_Dump_TooKit v1.05 .EXE
    SLIC_Dump_TooKit v1.08.EXE

The slice tools can't find any dump. ??

My HP came with a Vista Home Premium Pre Installed, which I didn't like so I surfed and found drivers for DV9000 and Nvidia GO 7600 from web and was able to insatll xp pro. It is working OK.

Now I want to install win 7.

I am able to Install win 7 enterprise on trial for 30 days but can't get it activated.

Also it Installs both 32 & 64 bit versions. I only need 32 bit version, my processor is T5500 1.6 Ghz.

How can I turn of install of 64bit. Dvd Installer gives no options.

Thanking you and looking forward to hearing from you.

First you are trying to activate the Enterprise Edition of Windows 7 through regular activation channels and it simply will not work.

Enteprise Editions of Windows 7 and Vista require a KMS activation Server in order to activate this kind of version and having a SLIC 2.1 and trying to activate it through regular activation means will fail miserably.

Second, this bios has been SUCCESSFULLY modified on the phoenix mod request board more than one time and has successfully activated windows 7, Home, Home Premium, Ultimate, Professional and Business Editions.

So, I do not see your problem other than trying to activate Enterprise Editions of Windows 7 which will fail each and everytime without an Activated KMS server to help you.
