    hi,

    I want to update the BIOS of my Laptop

    Brand: Neo M545g

    Bios: Phoenix NoteBIOS 4.0 release
    Bios Ver: M5x0G - R1.00.06
    KBC Ver: 1.00.05

    It always say bad checksam error, even though I replace the cmos battery

    I need an bios update...

    what tool version did you use?
    I tried the latest tool, it's stuck while patching certain address.

    nobody figures out to activate existing SLIC on these models (HP DC7600, 7800, 8000...)

    Hi guys, I'm in need of serious help with my note, I upgraded my i3 330M to an i5 450M and now I'm receiving the following message "02F0: CPU ID: 55 No Microcode Update Loaded for Alternate Processor" I believe the microcode update could be resolved with a BIOS update, problem is, the manufacturer doesn't provide the BIOS, can anyone help me find a proper BIOS? I tried to dump the actual BIOS and change it but with no success, here are some info from my notebook:

    Brand: Phoenix Technologies LTD
    Version: CALPELLACRB.86C.0000.X.0000000000
    Date: 04/24/2010

    Chipset: HM55

    Manufacturer: CCE

    At the BIOS I see:

    BIOS Version: 2.06_[2010.04.24]
    EC Version: 2.2W_[2010.04.09]
    M/B Revison: D

    Any help will be really appreciated, thanks!
