    Hi all, been trying to install XP on my dads laptop we got him for his birthday as he uses some particular software which will not run on anything else

    The model is SVT1312B4E

    The bios is Insyde R0140D4

    is there any mod which will let me change the settings so I can install xp?

    cheers

    I read that I need to Change controller option to 'Compatibility' / 'IDE' but this isnt available
