If my mod work, it's perhaps less dangerous to copy oembios.* files from your asus CD to your HP CDs (Flash Bios = danger)
If you want HP mod : what slp string will you want ? HP PAVILION, Hewlett, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard ?

I guess it should be "Compaq Hewlett-Packard HP PAVILION"(OEM XP SLP),

But to make sure, I can check it on my other computer with AMI bios (by using AMI_SLIC3)

I recently built up a PC with an Intel DX48BT2 motherboard that has Intel BIOS BTX3810J.86A version 1814 (latest from Intel website) to replace my old Dell 4400. I installed the original Dell Windows XP Home CD slipstreamed with SP2, and then installed WGA version 1.8.31.9. From there I used Windows Update to get all the latest updates so I'm currently at SP3, but I still get the activation popup.

Can this bios be modded, and if so what do I need to do to make that happen? I'm new to this so any help is appreciated.
