Nice work Zort, thanks. No go with cbrom182, the message is, file not found. I changed the name to 1014c.bin and some other *****.bin. The file and cbrom182 are in the same directory. I think my syntax is correct but something is wrong. Please post the cmd line for /D. Good info on the .001 being a beta file extension, I was puzzled about that. In my previous efforts I had changed it to bin. Nice to know why it wasn’t bin.
Zort, I finally got cbrom working. I removed the folder and dumped it in the root. I'll figure that out later, I'm finally able to get started. I tried to get this post in before you replied to my last cry for help. Many thanks I found that Award V6 is Phoenix/Award, as cbrom182 is Phoenix. If that's how it works.
Zort, I was surprised when I looked at the compare results. Why so many changes to adjust the final checksum. I have another mod for the Cusl2 (not Cusl2-C) I will take a look. I’m so new to this but it does make me wonder why. The final byte count for all those changes would equal what. Thanks again
The text was: 960 difference (s) found. That was bytes? Yes to that, the hex change list wasn't long enough. So it removed 960 bytes.
So I need to flash the bios again and use the notfixed.bin version. Modded without cbrom, I don't even want to ask how that was done. Time to flash. Thanks
I went with the notfixed and everything is up and running. I don't want to take any chances. I'm testing for the next 4 days and then I've got a 4 hour drive to it's new home. It's a family thing. Thanks again
