    It's not working. Flashed it with Asus update utility but it corrupted the BIOS. Restored the original BIOS by using the CD provided with the board and after that upgraded it to the one provided by medic911 for Vista activation.

    Don't flash from Windows. Use DOS floppy/usb drive, or EZ-Flash if you must.

    Thanks for your reply but I have used Asus Update utility to flash many modded BIOSes for Vista Activation. Is there any difference?

    I would say ALWAYS flash from DOS, whether with the onboard utility or the AWDFLASH/AFUDOS tools. Winflash is too "dirty".:D

    I would suggest AWDFLASH for Award bios and AFUDOS for AMI..I always have and offon7544 may concur, but it is ultimately up to you. :eek:
