There is none. You can find on torrents Zorin 9 Ultimate x86 and x64 and Zorin 10 Ultimate x64. IMHO is not worth it. I played with Zorin 10 Ultimate x64 these days and besides the file manager, there's nothing worth paying for. Wine 1.8 can installed from Ubuntu repositories as well in other Ubuntu-based distros. Plasma 5 is better looking than default Zorin GUI if you're into "the flat look". IMHO, Linux Mint 17.3 x86 with upgraded KDE (default KDE 4.x - which I prefer) to Plasma 5 looks much better.
Ultimate is good for noobs to Linux, it provides a wide range of software that could other wise take months or years to find. The vast amount of software is conversely a pain if you know exactly what you want. Horses for courses
Not really. In KDE, in Software Manager you can search for a program either by name or description or both, so finding it doesn't take much. In Synaptic is the same. And there's always duckduckgo or google to find a program...
Is there a list somewhere that shows exactly what apps come with the free and paid versions of Zorin 10? That would make it easier to compare if the paid is worth it or not.
Zorin OS uses Ubuntu repositories and its own, thus nothing "in-app purchases". Zorin OS 10 Ultimate is based on Ubuntu 15.04. Zorin DE is based on Gnome 3. Zorin OS 10 Core is based on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. If you don't want to end with Ubuntu it's better to use their update manager to update and not "sudo apt-get dist-upgrade" from terminal.
The programs included in the release all work, as a novice you may want a media server, you can install half a dozen and non will work, I know, Ive been there. Zorin is a very gentle and easy introduction to Linux, its not the prettiest but in my humble opinion its the best introduction.
I couldn't find one, I have only used 9, I didn't pay for it simply because 10 had been released. Had 9 just been released I would have been more than happy with the software package, its almost too extensive, well worth the money. I am sure 10's software package will be just as good as Zorin 9.
