I want to dual boot vista and windows7, vista already installed
but when I want to shrink my partition, the maximum I can shrink is only around 2gb, and windows7 need minimum of 16gb or so
I tried moving my pagefiles to another drive, and delete shadow copy, but it doesn't work and the maximum I can shrink is still around 2gb
I have 37gb free space on my harddisk

    ...help please?

What program are you using to resize your partition(s), and what are the details of your Storage Devices?
i.e. How many drives do you have with how many partions and how much free space do you have?

The problem is that there is meta data on the disk. You can use Raxco Perfect Disk to defrag this and consolidate free space. I used a trial version of this once and it worked like a charm. You will also need to turn off your page file and system restore before defragging. Be sure to check the option to consolidate free space.
