It should work as it is. Anyway I strongly suggest you to use afudos (better older version) with syntax afudos /ixxxx.rom /pbnc /n (where xxxx is bios file you want to flash).

Ok... I did some more research for you. The exact model of the one I am trying to hack is DV9033 Which came with XP Media Center. I also have a DV9235 Which came with Vista Home Premium. It seems like they are really the exact same laptop except they came with different OSes. Even the Bios update files are exactly the same.

When I got my DV9235 I updated my firmware (non hacked) and I was able to install the Ultimate Edition with no problems and it allready has the SLIC table in it.

I did notice that in the original Upgraded firmware for my DV9256 the RSDT/OEM ID is HP... not HPQOEM like it was in the modified firmware on the DV9033. The SLIC/OEM ID is HPQOEM on the DV9235... and the modded firmware on the DV9033 had no SLIC table at all.

Also... I noticed that not all sections of the bios are over written when the firmware is updated. It skips sections 2-17. Not sure if that means anything.

Let me know if you need any other compairisons or if there is anything else I need to do. ;)
