Yes, I tried flashing with "afudos /i0503.rom /pbnc /n" and "afudos /i0503.rom". Both seem to hang at "Advance Check" and I have to restart the computer. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
I can load setup defaults and I don't have a raid setup. Any other ideas why it won't get past "advance check........." Thanks.
Does anyone know why the modded bios cannot be updated using the EZ-flash utility in the bios on an Asus P5K-E? I have an Asus P5B deluxe that updated perfectly using the EZ-Flash utility. However, my Asus P5K-E will not flash because it says bad boot block.
I should also mention that my bootable usb flash drive comes up as the C: drive in DOS. Would this cause a problem when I try to run afudos from this drive? Is afudos programmed to look for the A: drive?
It seems more and more the right version of Afudos is required to get a flash to work properly, i've found 2.17 to work the best but indeed on some boards I've had to use 2.26. I guess it's just their way of making it more and more difficult :>
