    he means change your vista cd key to an asus cd key corresponding to the version of windows you installed.

    Cero thank you very much for pointing this out! This makes it perfectly clear that i will have to try this other mod as well, especially since i discovered lately that i actually do have some very hidden and subtle Problems with my Bios- always memory related.
    It may very well have to do with this dynamic/static issue. Or it may also not...
    who knows? I will test.
