Even if you're a little off-topic here, I'd like to spend few words, as I'm not totally agreed with what you said. 680i chipset (or 680SLI) is a very buggy chipset. It was born under a black light, that is it still has little issues due to some memory compatibilities and it's a very hot chipset (it uses passive cooling like most motherboards around). P35 is only an evolution of 965p and it has been classified as a meed-range chipset and not an high range or "enthusiast range". I agreed with you when you said that P35 adds only DDR-3 support and ICH9. In fact, I've an Asus Commando (965P) and supports newest cpus (1333 MHz FSB) and has a great overclocking margin. I think that better motherboards still have to come (read X38 chipset for example). I'm pretty sure we will talk again about it very soon.
p28 working... I can also confirm that the EVGA P28 bios mod by XBioses works great no issues clock speed is correct on post as well thanks a million
My Question is if it is possible to unlock the bios so that I can have all the options that hp has blocked. Thanks, Rahul
