    Maybe it's ACER SLIC. If you want I can try with ASUS SLIC (less problems).

    I am sorry for not being as techicaly savy as some of you. I dont know how to post a copy of my bios, How do I get it? Once I do get it I do know how to post it but how to copy it and save it so I can upload it I dont know...
    In the mean time here is what I do have

    System Manufacturer Emachines/Gateway
    System Name T6412
    AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+

    Mainboard Vendor MICRO-STAR
    Mainboard Model MS-7184
    BIOS Vendor Phoenix Technologies, LTD

    been working hard on this

    ** UPDATE :
    - I flashed the BIOS to the INTEL-AMI (NON-OEM) using Intel Recovery however I lose video and CPU fan runs at max all the time when enabled
    - Flashed it BACK to the Gateway OEM (AMI) BIOS
    BF86510A.15A.0087.P21.0504192048. (< same file in last post)



    I think you were right when you suggested modding the Gateway version is not possable.
    Thought of trying to flash to this version from Intel website : 0069.P21 but do not want to fry the board with all this flashing !
