It would be great to have a service which automatically rearms ur Win7 all 30 days and if rearm count = 0 it simply restores it.... This would be really helpful for ppl who don't want to use "illegal" activation tools. Does anyone agree with this coz it's just and idea nothing more...

It would be great. And also it's my case, i'm stuck in "grace period" and any loader or driver, worked for me (thanks Intel) so my only choice is to rearm windows 7 and use this method.

i don't think that this method is illegal. there is no modification of system's files.

Well then the service needs to do the following:

    * On startup check how many days/seconds are left from the initial grace persion
    -- if > 1 : terminate service
-- if =< 1 : notify user that it is time to rearm, run: "rundll32 slc.dll, SlReArmWindows" and finally restore rearm count if required

Oh thanks, so the first line shouldn't be there?
    And what's the difference between
    system.IO.file.writealltext
    and
    my.computer.filesystem.writealltext?

The last one gives an error in visual studio

I removed the first line and now jit gives "file not found" error, but when I look at the file everything is written correctly:confused:

I really like this idea of rearm infinitely.
What is the goal of this thread.
    1. To write program to automatically reset rearm every 30 days
    2. Or to set up way to run code as task
    3. Other?
Just curious what direction this is going?
    :)

Did you hear about the guy who couldn't afford to buy a personalized license plate so he changed his name to BDJ-759?

I'm interested in this, too, FYI.

this would be the first "legal" method to have a genuine Windows.

    Keep up the good work.

It will be best alternative to loaders and other stuffs but one thing is that it must be automatic.
