    PMR,
    What does it do exactly, always set the rearm count? Or just whenever it is about to expire?
    In the original idea someone suggested to make it run as a service, i believe when it is ran as a service you should be able to poll the grace counter (for example daily) and that way only execute the rearm procedure whenever the OS is about to expire, not?
    Might be a nice implantation... if you have the time ;)

    yes exactly... i think the program now rearms everytime, this takes quite some time so it could be a nice feature to only execute the rearm process if actually needed.
    downside could be MS being able to disable such service

    @PMR
    Do you know what dis does with WAT? I mean if WAT made you non-genuine because of the lenovo key, if your run this app and rearm then, will you be genuine again then?

    Maybe it is just me but i just ran Reset Rearms.exe on a (clean) VBox install, now it shows 'This copy of Windows is not genuine'
    I did not enter a key during install, so it used the default key (fresh install, so WAT not installed)

    So I followed the instructions on the first page of this thread and now I'm stuck in some sort of a rut. I can still use windows fine and what not, but just with a black desktop and some nags. My problem is as follows. After completing the guide and trying to rearm windows I get this error 0xC004FE00. Any insight as to what that is or what I should do to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    I just changed from the default windows 7 ult. key to the lenovo key you referenced in an earlier post and it says the same thing. I haven't used or installed any WAT cracks, loaders or anything of that nature. I've just been running an unactivated windows 7 for months since my last rearm expired back then. I did run your little utility but it just sat at a blank prompt for a few minutes. Have I done something wrong or is the first post out of order?
