*be careful if you dont get it right your going to have to do a clean install* thats from the first page. the instructions written works fine for me and tuvi123. so that means you guys messed up somewhere. if you used my application the instructions that are with it work fine for me. if you messed that up your going to have to clean install also
lol you are kidding everything in this vm run as admin edit: yes clean install is a way but for those with this thing no solution? the rearm4 fix this with some magical way
No, true. Look at the adress of his command line. It says "MadSheep" If it was admin it would say system32 in his case he was not running as admin
this was only meant for people that know what they are doing. thats why i didnt want to post this in the first place. Box is a good guy if you want you guys can use his app if you have no idea what your doing.
So, it's good to know that I'm not alone in getting this error......kinda. PMR, I did get that summary in your screeny from slmgr -dlv before I rebooted the first time. Would sfc /scannow help at all in this situation or is this completely seperate?
tell me something is this the right directions 1. net stop sppsvc 2. Run your program 3. install a key 4. reboot 5. rearm i do it with this order and rearm give me this results i installed an oem_spl key and the same thing happened as for the dlv is the same with yours!!!
lol you did it wrong. you messed up twice. i do not do this 1. net stop sppsvc and after i reboot i install the key. rearm then reboot again
ok the "net stop sppsvc" command stops the licensing service btw same results with 1. run your program 2. reboot 3. install ket 4. rearm
So then we would need to follow the whole guide on the first page and swap #8 and #9 or should we just follow what MadSheep! said minus step 1? I got into this situation by following the steps on the first page down to an exact science, but if they were out of order I could understand it not working quite right. All of that means that I did infact install a key BEFORE rebooting because the guide said so. I am going to sfc /scannow and then try to process over again with #8 and #9 swapped.
Ah, good to know. I hadn't seen confirmation of this anywhere so I wasn't sure. My other question is how do I know that your your little file is done running? Will it go away? Will it say something? The only time I ran it I waited about 5 minutes and it was just a blank command prompt the whole time. @MadSheep! It looks like this so far. Correct me if this is wrong please. 1. Run PMR's application 2. Reboot 3. Install Key 4. Rearm 5. Reboot Yes? No?
if you closed the application before it closed itself then thats a problem.... the app will close when its done.
