This procedure has worked fine for me in all 4 of my Dell minitowers which have a GeForce GTX 645 graphics card. I first used it to install driver version 474.30. When it was time to update to driver version 474.44, there was no need to use the procedure again.
I haven't used that procedure in almost a year with the GeForce GTX 645 graphics card, but I assume it still works. To avoid that problem, I now use the NVIDIA 391.35 graphics driver when doing a clean reinstall of Windows 7 64-bit.
(dumb question) Isn't there a way to just manually re-add the MS certificate that they have revoked to the certificate store? Nvidia drivers as just one of many drivers that produce the code 52 error since microsoft decided to revoke the older certificates
Tested 474.64 with RTX 3070ti. Works perfect. Is there any chance to force this or other driver to work with windows 8.1 and Vista x64?
