Restore windows 7 backup

    I had windows 7 on n200 of which hard disk gone bad, but luckily I have backup image of the OS and not the 100mb partition created during install.
    I need help how to restore the image?

    Acronis backup

    Sorry I didn't mention that backup was done using acronis TI 2009
    and I happened not take take the backup of 100mb partition.

    You will need to restore the image and then use Diskpart or similar utility to mark the partition active. Once the partition is active and your image restored to disk the startup repair tool on the W7 install DVD should fix it.
