Ask Windows7fan maile3241 for that. BTW its still do problem with Server 2003 x86. My script its just a "Private" improved fork.
I have no problem with Windows Server 2003 x86, in german version, Windows Update works with your April-Version of your patcher very fine and with no problems.
If you have Extended Kernel installed, you can use ProxHTTPSProxy natively on 2000, if you have vanilla 2000 SP3 or SP4, follow @maile3241 tutorial.
I need Microsoft Update for functional. How can I use? I have copied the Microsoft Update ActiveX-Files under System32 and reg it with regsvr32, nothing doesent work. Can you restore it too, or MU is death?
It is already restored. Copy muweb.dll from your MU working machine to system32 and run regsvr32 muweb.dll.
When I have all done, the Site said to me this: Install the ActiveX control required to view the website The website will not display correctly on your computer without this control. To install it: 1. Right-click the Internet Explorer Information Bar. It's located just below the address bar. 2. In the right-click menu, click Install ActiveX Control. 3. In the Security Warning dialog box, click Install. I don't see the Internet Explorer Information Bar.
I forgot to post this earlier, but as of Mid March 2022, all download.ru links have been removed. You will have to resort to my Google Drive link for now. This move is symbolic.
Now is functional MU in XP x64. You must copy 32 Bit muweb.dll in Syswow64 and then regsvr32 muweb.dll.
Sorry about the mistake. In Windows 2000 Professional is Microsoft Update functional too. Thank you for your great help.
are you in anyway going to archive the updates just in case? some updates as you said are already down. did this require patching of some windows update files to get working or is it just modifying of the websites only? (or is it both?)
