SHA1: 8018e51e6bf5643dee55540cae1cda5ab0588f0f why the size got double ?? what new in this 4gb iso file!
Why do even want either of those Office C2R? first one is plain RTM/GA the iso from 2018 include delta files to update older versions, and more fixes/quality
What wrong in having those C2R files! Any issue in them ?? As from nearly 5 yrs me using that 2016 -2.3GB installed office only on win 7. I updated my whole PC /system so thought to install new updated office. And was searching 2019 office..that time I saw this two version size of office 2016. And was curious to know the difference in both of them. So it's all abt fixed, update files in 2018 release. If install that old iso file of office 2016..Will it download (thru windows update) all these new updates, features and fixes..the one which it have in 2018 , 4GB version .img file!
Because they are old and presumably you need one architecture (x64 or x86), you don't have to download both with those unified ISOs you could use Deplyment Tool, Online Installer, YAOCTRU... Office C2R has its own updating engine, it doesn't use windows update unless you are on Windows 7 or 8.1 and have genuine Office 2016 license, you should opt to Office 2021, it's basically Office 2016 v3
Office 2021 is the release year of this version Office 365 is a part of the Microsoft 365 service And neither, neither the service, nor the year of release require to be online and also any internet connection. You need to be online only if you use something that is not on your computer but is located somewhere on a server. Office can be used both on a local computer and on the Internet, but you can buy the service. But if you have bought a retail package, you can use it anywhere. To use Microsoft services, you need to be connected to the Internet from time to time, when using a local network, you need to be connected to it from time to time.
what so good is 2021 compare to 2019. i dont need much extra feature..my focus is mostly on word, power point, excel i dont need online installation.. offline files like iso is better yesterday i have downloaded this (seems like this is old release...i noticed its from 2021-06-23) File: en-us_ProPlus2019Retail.img Version: Office 2019 (v.16.0.14026.20302) Language: English - (EN) MD5: 628979fa321766ef1fec33369c16215f SHA-1: 425b571907dab50d4d2d58719962b9dcfbfcd35b Size: 3.996 GB (4290973696 bytes) That C2R showing this version - 2302 (Build 16130.20714) but in download office tab, there not 2019 it showing 2016-2021 what does that mean...is it downloading all files sorry, i have never use this c2r..i mostly download direct microsoft iso files.. so little confuse on how to use it. me on win 10 22H2
You can download latest O365ProPlusRetail.img or ProPlus2021Retail.img from the link i posted both have the same content, only differ in the setup launcher Office 16.0 C2R source files are unified, it cover 2016/2019/2021 and Office 365 you can use Deployment Tool, YAOCTRI, C2R Install Lite, Office Tool Plus... to install any of them from same source
Is that 365 & 2021 mostly have same features.. for any personal user. if I want to download the latest version of office 2019 or 2021(with updates) is that c2r can do it...as it shows some latest build version out there. Note - download file needed from c2r not online installation thru these c2r or other apps.So that any time I can use these downloaded files to install office even when offline. I was checking that deployment tool few days back, it's an online installation tool. Well it was not running showing this error.
Can anyone help me find an Office 2016 ISO? I'm looking for a very specific version: Office 2016 v1907 (version number is slightly after v1903: 16.0.11425.20244), whether that is a release version ISO + an offline update file, or a prebuilt ISO, as that is the last update before the Office 2016 icons were changed to match the Office 2019 icons. I currently can't find an ISO anywhere at all, and Ratiborus' tools only seem to download the latest release.
Where would I go about downloading an ISO of that version? All the tools I've seen only download the latest release channel...
@LostED quick question, what do I need to add to download Visio, Project and Access Runtime too? I tried the Microsoft online XML generator, which put ProjectProXVolume, AccessRuntimeRetail and VisioProXVolume, but I'm not sure if those are the IDs for the Office 2016 versions, or what version number to provide for those?
