So i plan to make a fresh install of windows 7 but i am confused over which version to choose from, oem or retail? Which one is easier to crack? I have a desktop pc with biostart motherboard. Are those pre cracked versions any good? thanks

It installs only Ultimate unless you remove the ei.cfg file.

All windows 7 DVD's contain all versions. You just have to set the eicfg.file to whatever version you want or delete it to have choice of all versions at install. The RTM in the "repo" is the final release to manufacturers. So it is essentially Retail.

The only true OEM edition is the Pre-Activated(Not Pirated) editions from OEM manufactures. Essentially all copies that are not pre-activated are Retail editions but the retail has all the activation channels integrated into it.
