I recently purchased an HP Pavilion Elite 410t, and upon receiving it, found that I cannot use my old audio card because it's a PCI card, and the only slot into which it will fit is used by the video card shipped with the system. There is no option to switch to onboard video in the BIOS, and so if I remove the card, all I get is the three, "No Video" beeps Here are the details of the system: MS-7613 (Iona-GL8) MB - OEM version Intel H57 chipset nVidia GeForce 315 512MB video card (PCI-E x16) (1) PCI-E x16 expansion slot (3PCI-E x1 expansion slots (1) PCI-Express minicard socket BIOS version: 6.16 BIOS date: 03/18/11 Core version: 08.00.15 Win7 64 bit It appears that there is an earlier version of the BIOS that does support the onboard video, and I'm wondering if I can just "roll back" to that earlier version. Does anybody know if this would work and, if so, what I'd need to do? FYI, I can provide links to the MB info and the appropriate screen of the earlier BIOS version if that helps, I just can't include them in my post since I'm a newbie to the site. Thanks.
