Once the SHA1 checksum is published it will be useful and it is already useful as not many people know about Technet and that MS published these checksums there. Besides it is only a temporary sub forum for RTM related stuff. If you're not happy with this thread then don't post in it
look sharp folks -- the official windows 7 blog site states that MS will release the RTM to OEM's 2 days after the RTM release. this means it should go gold today, and release to OEM's Friday. This only means that we should see a leaked scene ISO between now and Friday. Hold on to your hats, this is straight from the horses mouth, and I look forward to the SHA1/MD5 of the real ISOs. Today really looks like the big day for MS regardless of rumors.
Just got WIN 7 x86 RTM and double checked the install.exe and is genuine with the proper numbers.........................
Those checksums are from what? An ISO you created from the RTM disc? Checksums from the ISO you got from MS? Edit: Those checksums were posted on the wzor site not too long ago too. Lets see what will appear on Technet (hopefully soon).
No it is from an iso I took 1 hour ago.
