I am working on a custom build of Windows 7 using Seven Lite. Basically, one of the tweaks I am making requires that I replace taskmgr.exe with another program and then rename taskmgr.exe to something else. The problem is that the renamed task manager (taskman.exe) only works for awhile (I really can't tell how long) and then it just stops executing. My feeling is that it is some sort of windows protection feature that is preventing it from executing. I really need a way to ensure that it keeps working. Any ideas?
