I have a Samsung Chromebook (xe350xba) that needs to be unlocked. What options exist for this kind of device to get it back to a default factory state and put a vanilla Linux distro that supports Chromebook systems on it?
Do you own it or it belongs to your job/workplace or school? If owner, follow the factory instructions what came with this computer or available on internet on this laptop webpage. if not, contact your administrator for support.
Sadly this is one of those systems sold by an ebay seller that seems to not know poop about anything and so I have sent 100 USD down the pisser if I cannot find another option. It seems like GalliumOS or Neverware may be good options if I can coax it into developer mode. I am reading that Samsung models frequently have a firmware unlock jumper near the processor so I have to try to figure this out it seems.
