SBS2003 OEM Disaster recovery

    Hey guys,

    I am looking at using Acronis or Symantec software to capture an image of a SBS2003 HP OEM server with 15 user cals recover it on an Intel server PC (very different hardware). The hardware change means I will have to activate within 3 days (of course with OEM this is not possible). I considered virtualisation but understand that cant be activated and will also bring up the 3 day activation.
    Is it possible to bypass or extend the activation on SBS2003 R2 OEM? We need a backup server if the one we have dies but I hear that with OEM our options are very limited and each one is very very expensive. Any ideas?

    I use a WHS machine to back up my SBS2003 system.
