I plan to install a Hackintosh on my system in a while: If it helps, my specs: Intel Core i5 3330S CPU @ 2.70 GHZ 4.00 GB RAM 64 Bit OS, x64 based processor And it's an HP AIO - hpb026in The screen resolution says: 1920x1080 My question is: What happens to the OS resolution that isn't meant to be installed on a computer but IS installed on that computer? I mean, is it configured to pick the resolution automatically? What if, say a Mac has a minimum of 2560x1440 ?? WHat happens to my screen? Does it stop working? I mean, I know there are drivers and kexts..but just curious to know if the OS is programmed by default to run on the resolution the HARDWARE is made of... One more thing: Would you guys recommend a OS X Mavericks or a OS X Mountain Lion for my specs? Thanks for reading...
