have you also run O&OShutUP10 or any privacy scripts? more than likely one of those is the culprit. You wouldn't notice until after a reboot on some of those.
I actually did run O&OShutUP10, but like you said, ran it before this one, so naturally I assumed it was this one. Sorry about that. Is there a way to fix this problem? EDIT: Wow, Windows Update was disabled completely, what the hell?
Store should stay just in case you want to install/use a 3rd party app later, Store is also an app so if removed you will not be able to install any app, including Store. The space it occupies in the hard drive is insignificant anyway. Option 26 should remove the selected apps from all users accounts and hard drive too. In your case, 26 (permanently remove), then 23 (all apps except store). You can remove the Store app from command line, but that option will not be included in the batch to avoid irreversible damage.
Excellent script btw, nice and easy. One thing that needs to be changed (IMO at least) is that Superfetch is included in the services that are disabled in the first option on the unnecessary services section. That would be good for SSD users, but what about HDD users that want to disable the rest of those services in that option but want to keep Superfetch enabled?
Are you the maker? Is he making an all in one solution or not? If not, the program is completely pointless and made just for him instead of letting people actually choose what they want. Also, are you suggesting that nothing else in this program is can cause "irreversible damage" in the program? Because you can still add it back. I am not sure where you are getting that from. If you do not actually include that, the program is useless to me, tbh. I want a total solution.
The batch is called Toggle Tweaker, which means you should be able to "toggle" things back. If you completely remove the Store App from hdd, you will not be able to add it back, since the Store itself is an App, and Apps can't be downloaded like you usually do with other files. I will add the Store to the removable list, with a WARNING IN CAPS to let you know that after removed, the Store can't be added back with the batch.
@Tr3bg0D echo 1. User Interface Tweaks echo 2. Enable/Disable stuff In Windows 10 echo 3. Speed Up PC Performance echo 4. Manage Microsoft Edge browser echo 5. Manage Updates echo 6. Manage Folders In "This PC" echo 7. Manage Onedrive echo. echo 8. More.. (Coming soon...) echo 0. Exit echo. . . . . . . at the end of file befor :Exit . . . . GOTO Main
That would be awesome. If you are honestly concerned with it, why not add a mini popup that says, "Are you sure you want to continue with X?" Also, are you going to make an option on the bottom too to remove all at once? I would really appreciate that as I want all gone instantly.
Made a few changes, now 1-23 removes Apps individually (23 is Store) and 24 removes all Apps but Store. If you want to uninstall all Apps, use 23 and 24. Removing Store will show a warning and demand you to type "yes" before proceeding. I have to try it in some computers to make sure it's working fine, still needs a few tweaks here and there.
Curious if this script can be applied to ALL users... Admin & Standard? Tried one script and it made changes ONLY in the admin acct. not the standard acct. even when I ran the script as admin in the standard acct.
yes it does and there is 4 options for this 1.Disable Onedrive 2.Enable Onedrive 3.Remove Onedrive/Dropbox Icon in File explorer 4.Disable and delete Ondrive ... *This feature can't be Enable again from this script if you Disable it
just some of the tweaks are applied to all users like disabling Onedrive Registry tweaks i am no sure but not all of them do
