Just have a fresh windows 10 installation without much bloat / spyware. I'm only installing via bootcamp on my mac to play with one or two pieces of software so i think I'll try LTSB first. I was just curious how easy this tool makes pruning a regular windows 10 into the lighter footprint LTSB. It seems like I'll be limiting myself a little with LTSB with no Edge but I can't see that being too critical.

I tested especially one function - "Disable Automatic Driver updates through Windows Update"... and of course this not working under W10 x64 Enterprise 10240/10586 Code: Reg.exe add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DriverSearching" /v "DontSearchWindowsUpdate" /t REG_DWORD /d "1" /f you can try uninstalling nvidia/amd drivers, restart, and try WU note. I don't know whether someone already been dealt with that here or this reg tweak works only with nonENT edition... this thread is big
Hey Yasser, Can you add Disable Program Compatibility Assistant in services and Group Policy Editor windows will open, navigate from left category folders to 'Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, and Application Compatibility' and enable (by double clicking and clicking 'Enable')the 'Turn off Program Compatibility Assistant' and 'Turn off Program Compatibility Engine'. Here's a suggestion that I'm sure some will like: an option to turn Home/Pro into LTSB by removing everything that doesn't exist in LTSB.
It's already integrated 3=>10=>3 and choose what you want from there i don't blame you or others for asking for options that are already included and the didn't see them because i know that now it's so complicated to find something in the script even me i use the source code to find stuff if any one have ideas to make it better am listening (please don't tell me GUI )
As i remember two users confirmed that it's working in Pro versions and it's working for me also i didn't find other Reg keys for ENT edition ... so I guess it's the same
Very nice idea and i think everything is in the source code but in different places i think LTSB lacks these features from Pro/Home (features that will be removed) Store + Modern apps Cortana Edge Calculator is replaced with calc.exe if that's it it will be an easy option to add Edit: do you think that a restore is needed for this option anyone interested can give his opinion
