I am trying to recover data from a SeaGate STS500620SAS Barracuda 7200.11 500GB drive that shows unallocated. I have pulled the drive out of the machine and have it in a drive enclosure. The drive makes some clicking noise and is spinning and the head is not stuck. I have attempted several programs such as Mini Partition Wizard and Easeus but cannot seem to get the partition recovered. This drive has someone's entire picture collection on it and there is NO backup. I have already told them about backups, backups, backups as I used to do Enterprise Data Backups/Recovery (Veritas) but mine was at the software level not hardware. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated...
