Thanks a second time. It's working. I did discover that you have to use an earlier release of the MiniUpdate tool for 2003 Server. The most current version starts support at Windows 7 and will not run on XP/2003 Server.

 

The 2016 version of WUMT is the last one for XP/2003.

 

Yes, but WUMT is not mandatory. While the website does not work the background WU service works, if you set the the automatic updates.

Just wait or trigger it with wuauclt.exe /detectnow
