I have downloaded, and delta'd the versions for Server 2003 R2, so now I have the following images :

    Code:
    Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise with Service Pack 2 – CD1 (x64) - Eval
    Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise with Service Pack 2 – CD1 (x64) – MSDN/RETAIL
    Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise with Service Pack 2 – CD1 (x64) – VL
    Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise with Service Pack 2 – CD1 (x86) - Eval
    Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise with Service Pack 2 – CD1 (x86) – MSDN/RETAIL
    Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise with Service Pack 2 – CD1 (x86) – VL

    Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard with Service Pack 2 – CD1 (x64) – EVAL
    Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard with Service Pack 2 – CD1 (x64) – MSDN/RETAIL
    Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard with Service Pack 2 – CD1 (x64) – VL
    Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard with Service Pack 2 – CD1 (x86) – VL
I have stupidly only concentrated on the CD1's because i was under the impression that the CD2's are all the same, so today i was thinking:

    • Are all the x64 CD's the same? will x64 CD2 work on STANDARD and ENTERPRISE VLK,MSDN and EVAL?
    • Or will all the x64 CD2's for ENTERPRISE work on all ENTERPRISE VLK, MSDN, EVAL? but not on the STANDARD, i need to get the STANDARD CD2
    • or does each VLK/MSDN/EVAL need their own CD2?
and ofcourse, all the same questions for x86

Thanks to everyone here at MDL, that has assisted me with all my questions, i dunno where i would have gone without your expertise !

I revised the post. For CD2 I believe the hashes if the same will only require change of file name.
