No. The OEMBIOS fileset for a particular OS should work on any version of that OS, including the 64bit versions. I used the Dell CRC=99735910 set with SBS2003 in a VM, a couple of weeks ago, while trying to repair/replace a damaged CD1 install disk.
Is it really necessary to install disc 2 or is it possible to skip it ? I'm not really interested in R2.
Installation went well. Activation is good. It is doing Windows Update now. Will follow up after it finishes. Thanks again!
Sbs 2003 oembios 911medic, Can I confirm that the OEMBIOS files etc that you supplied in post #45 in this thread will work for SBS R2? Cheers As an aside from another thread, I used the slictool to mod my Award BIOS and you're right, very impressive!
Hello: I have been reading your post and try some methods but have not succed at this. Download Windows 2003 storage server Standard R2. Use your files from post #45 Change CD-KEY to CD-Key on sticker of my dell PowerVault 775n. Make CD Install barks when asking for CD-KEY. Can you please let me know what else to change. Thank you. RP.
CD key on the sticker is NON SLP OEM key (maybe you can activate it on the phone?) You need SLP OEM key from stickies sebus
