Server 2003 -> Trial to MSDN conversion using Delta

    Hi, i've downloaded trial italian Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition x64 with SP2 X13-29859.img from M$ in order to convert to untouched it_win_srv_2003_r2_enterprise_x64_with_sp2_cd1_x13-29200.iso (SHA1:73664275eb603be5f8923d1792b889d8fac842b0) using xdelta3, but i'm missing CRM.delta file. Can someone explain me how to generate or download it, please?

    Somebody how had both (trial & retail versions) would have to make delta

    Is it possible for me to put an oembios of a Windows Server 2003 32-bit into a 64bit?

    Yah.. OEMBIOS files are architecture independent.

    I think it's VL. It's definitely not trial. I used it and did not need to activate anything.

    We already have VL one. We just need DPCDLL.DL_ & PIDGEN.DLL from retail DC.

    Hi all.

    We have got 2 old Dell servers donated by a large company, the are poweredge 2850
    the have been formatted, we have found the dell setup CD but we are missing de Dell windows 2003 R2 oem CD

    I have a question, i have read a lot topics .
    I have downloaded te MSDN 2003 trial
    changed it with xdelta3.exe to dell media ( from the first post in this topic)
    after this the checksums are:
    CRC32: 4B9CB572
    MD5: E5EB93DDEAF2F91F69FF86B919907ABA
    SHA-1: CCF6EF05F95DF088F3210592C98F3DF5042C59D9
    i think this ok.


    When we burn this to CDRW is wil not install, i think because the missing files below
    CRC.SFV
    OEMBIOS.BIN
    OEMBIOS.DAT
    OEMBIOS.SIG
    OEMBIOS.CAT

    I have found 2 sets with the flies above in it
    1- is DELL-R2-99735910.rar
    2- is DELL-C20D8FF5.rar
    I extract the files and now we are not sure how to proceed

    I have have copied all files from the iso disk to a folder called iso_folder

    --- question---
    wich downloaded rar we should use ?

    Should we copy the 5 oem files to the root of the iso-folder ?
    and the burn it as bootable cd

    How can i do that there is nothing installed on the server now, can we run MGADIAG to check the ISO cd ?

    What do you mean?
    An error message? Or CD walks away from a server when you try to put it in a drive?
    A bit more description could give you a chance for an answer. Otherwise it is a guessing game...

    Ok sorry for the delay, i haven been sick

    We just used the converted trial to oemcd and it works ok, it installs complete with the automated windows serial.
    ( so the dell files are not needed on the install disc)

    There only one issue to solve, in the hardware list we haven a yellow mark
    -ACPI\PCI0c31\1 PCI bridge ISA not installed with code 1.

    You can turn Windows Server 2003 Trial to Full with: WPA Kill, and TweakNT to remove the "Time Bomb".

    I am desperately seeking install media (image) for Windows Server 2003 standard edition X64. I have a VL product key, but I can't seem to find the install media anywhere. Can anyone help me? I've got the 32-bit VL media, but I need the 64-bit version.

    need a little more info, Win server 2003 or Win server 2003 R2?

    From the info given, I would have to guess this?

    I have the R2 edition installed, but I'm starting to think my product key is for the NON-R2 version. So thats what I'm looking for now. I suppose it would be the following:


    File Name:en_windows_server_2003_standard_x64.iso
    Languages:English
    SHA1:0ad2d1a3a6b98aee7c36fb83f5dd11f4997416ec

    Windows Server 2003 Standard x64 Edition (English)

    I have two product keys that are the VL edition, but I think they are for 32-bit. So I am going to start hunting for the 64-bit, non-R2, version.
