Yes, this will work on retail and VLK keys....these are all blocked or used up (or you need a KMS to activate) unfortunatly with the 'prefered' MAK keys it leaves out OS type the key is for. No word on OEM Server 2008 as of yet...
Yeah i have been trying to search around for any WGA reports or anything that might have been uploaded that shows anything related to SLP and the BIOS strings and only found two wga reports which were VLK installs. Thanks for the heads up with MAK key results.
SLP OEM keys are not personal keys. Sharing a SLP key will in no way affect or damage the key value unlike sharing VLK or COA or MAK keys, etc. The key will be leaked in due time because it came from a royality OEM machine which will be shipped with that very key for every server they sell with that Server version. For example, if the key you tested was a real OEM SLP key from a Dell server that shipped with 2008 Server Standard, then that key will be shipped on all Dell Servers purchased with Server 2008 Standard from the factory. So its just a matter of time before they are enough machines around for it to be leaked.
I agree. It's only a matter of time before the keys are leaked. I am going to make a "Server 2008" section in the "Collection of Vista OEM SLP Keys" thread in case Inge001 wants to be the first to leak it.........lol.
What about the SLIC and OEM Certificates? are you allowed to share these? Like the other say, the key will leak eventually... just wan't to know if Server 2008 uses different SLIC tables and OEM Certicates
