A friend of mine downloaded windows server 2008 (NOT: R2), 32bit, from dreamspark (as a student) and also got the corresponding key for the german version. This happened a long time ago. She is no longer a student and can no longer use dreamspark. Problem: With XP losing support in 2014, she would like to switch to server 2008 as a replacement for XP. (Personally, I myself have been using 2003 and like it too (also as a replacement for XP).) But: We now found out that the iso download was broken (most likely)! She can no longer use dreamspark (see above) and redownload it. Question: Is there some other way to download a windows server 2008 iso and use the official and legal key she got via dreamspark? Or would this key ONLY work for that specific german iso? (Or even just for that student offer) Any help welcome thanks, sjusjusju
