Set BIOS To Default Settings before Modding ?

    Hi,

    I am about to modify by BIOS for a Latitude D630 and realised that I have changed a few of the settings in the original BIOS. Should I restore the original BIOS to the shipped default settings before modding it or is it not necessary? Also, the service tag is set in the original BIOS, am I OK to leave this or do I need to use a removal tool before modding?
