what about "N" oemslp keys? it's really sucks that "E" keys were leaked and not "N" keys.. (E version is not even sold but N is).
What about it? Seriously, i imagined you should know better, your no newbie here anymore... leak them, or simply be quite and wait until they appear!
I don't like your tone, I simply said that it's weird that "E edition" keys that has not been sold suddenly appeared and "N" dont now that official "N" ISO's with SP1 integrated were leaked and there is still no OEMSLP keys. I'm not *asking* for it' I know it's not works like that.
by "what about it?" I did not mean "please give me N keys", I simply expressed my wonderment about the N keys not being released yet.
I have not once seen any 'E' or 'N' versions that came pre-installed so I'm not sure if 'N' versions are sold pre-installed, meaning using OEM:SLP keys. Examining the pkconfig.xrm-ms tells me they could, for example: Code: <pkc:Configuration> <pkc:ActConfigId>{89cc87b2-d442-4c79-99b2-addc5abcf2a5}</pkc:ActConfigId> <pkc:RefGroupId>178</pkc:RefGroupId> <pkc:EditionId>HomeBasicN</pkc:EditionId> <pkc:ProductDescription>Windows 7 Home BasicN OEM:SLP</pkc:ProductDescription> <pkc:ProductKeyType>OEM:SLP</pkc:ProductKeyType> <pkc:IsRandomized>false</pkc:IsRandomized> </pkc:Configuration> My guess of why all the HP 'E' keys got leaked recently, simple because basically they do not exist and thus are useless.... or paranoia mode: they are leaked intentionally to be blocked in (near) future
I found the E keys just by pure chance! The keys were located in a small app called HPOATOOL.EXE which can be found after factory restore in C:\system.sav\util\ HPOATOOL.EXE (viewing hidden files and folders) It's VB based app which can be opened up with DotNet Reflector Pro, I found the keys inside! so anyone with a hp or compaq what came preinstalled with 7 it's worth taking a look inside HPOATOOL.EXE maybe some have N Edition?
So we do have OEM:SLP keys for N-versions? No we dont.. So you're wrong Buying a OEM key will not make it OEM:SLP Perhaps if you find a computer with 7-n..
I only talked about already installed N, and not about the box or do you think that all the keys here solely for the boxes
Well he asked if there are OEM:SLP keys for N-versions Perhaps your english isnt so good but yea i couldve guessed you ment to buy a computer with windows 7-N
I never, ever have seen a system that came preinstalled with 7-N... maybe thats just me and the region i live in but i honestly doubt if there are OEM:SLP licences sold for 7-N versions
