Dont use imagex in the os!. Its meant for winPE. You use it in the PE evironment with custom startup disk. You can create one with WAIK windows automated installation kit. If u use imagex to make a image you first need to command. C:\windows\system32\sysprep\sysprep.exe /generalize /oobe /shutdown to make sure you dont have a bootloop the image doesnt contain any boot or partition data, its meant for multiple installs really. I personally dont think its a solid tool, its your data though
