Hi everybody first off, many many thx for this UpdatePack I really hope someone is able to help me. I successfully integrated the UpdatePack 18.9.15 into a Win7 x64 SP1 image and installed it onto my Mac Pro 5,1 on a seperate SSD. After the Windows installation was done I was not sure if the update pack was really installed so I ran the UpdatePack.exe and after several reboots it was done. Now to my problem(s). Is it normal, that the whole Windows Update is blocked? It's telling me that the Service is not running, but the Service is running. If it's normal, it would've been great to have an option if I wanted to have it completely disabled, since I used to download .Net Framework via Windows Update.(and I'm sure other people are using Windows Update to download another language) My biggest problem is, that after the Installation of the UpdatePack.exe Windows is telling me that I have no permission to change the StarupDisk, which is really essential for me to use the BootCampTools to directly boot into Mac OS X from Windows. The Strange thing is before I ran the UpdatePack.exe I could use the BootCampTools to boot into Mac OS X. Which brings me to the conclusion that somehow the integration of the UpdatePack didn't really work. It displayed the confirmation in CMD that everything went fine so I created an iso and burnt it onto a DVD, but since the BootCampTools were working correctly prior to running the UpdatePack.exe I think it did not really work. TL;DR: How to change the permissions in Windows 7 so I am allowed to change the StartupDisk (to use BootCampTools to boot directly into Mac OS X from Windows)? Is it normal, that Windows Update is telling me the Service is not running, even though the Service is running? I really would like to have the OPTION to use Windows Update to installl .Net Framework Many many thanks in advance. I hope someone has the answers and replies really fast. Otherwise I have to reinstall Windows with the DVD on which I have burnt the integrated iso and NOT INSTALL the UpdatePack.exe afterwards. This way I would be able to use the BootCampTools again. Love and blessings
1. When you've integrated the pack to an iso you would have seen a report/log of what has been integrated, if not, it's on c:\windows of the system you ran the pack on an offline mounted wim. When you ran the pack online, the log will be on that system. 2. None of the problems you post does have anything to do with using the pack itself.

171 Total installation time of UpdatePack - 01:19:36 Operation of the program has been successfully finished I suppose I won't see any difference to a non-integrated iso installation while the installation is running since everything was integrated? Is there a way to check after the installation from the integrated iso is done to check if everything went fine? Or is the log after integration of the UpdatePack to the install.wim my only assurance? The permission problem is definitely coming from applying the UpdatePack.exe I installed Win7 from the integrated iso, then installed the BootCampTools for the Mac Pro 5,1 and I was able to use it to boot to Mac OS X from Windows. Since I wasnt sure if every Update from the UpdatePack was sucessfully installed I ran the UpdatePack.exe and it installed and rebooted many times. The UpdatePack.exe said it was checking which Updates are already installed, but since I used an integrated iso to install Windows the UpdatePack.exe should have recognized that every update is already installed, or am I mistaken? Otherwise there would be no reason to integrate the UpdatePack into the iso if we had to run the UpdatePack.exe after the Windows installation? I also was not promted that the system would need to reboot (I read somewhere in this thread, that there would be a prompt, but I could be wrong), it just did it on it's own. Maybe the problem is that I ran the UpdatePack.exe after installation from the integrated iso, but the UpdatePack.exe shoul've seen that everything is already installed, so that can't be the reason. Maybe I should not have installed the UpdatePack.exe after installation from the integrated iso. But why did the installer not recognize that all updates should have been already installed? I also read that some older updates are not integrated with the UpdatePack. Do I need to install them by myself prior to using the UpdatePack.exe? And how to do it if I used and integrated iso to install Windows? And do you also use Spy Bot Anti-Beacon? It should be obsolete since SimplixPack is all we need, or am I mistaken? Am I right to assume everytime a new UpdatePack is released I can just install it while running Windows? I don't have to reinstall everything, right? Repairing the BootCampTools via Control Panel > Programs and Tools did not help Why can't I install dotNet Framework 4.7? It's telling me I'm missing an Update and provided me with a download to the update but I can't install the Update. I think Simplix blocked it? "Installer encountered an error: 0xc8000247". So far my experience with the Simplix UpdatePack is not great at all At this point it would've been faster to just install every update via WSUS Offline and then use SpyBot Anti-Beacon. Please don't get me wrong, I don't want to offend anybody, but that's just my experience at this moment. It would have been really helpful if any of this would've been in the first post. A search option for threads would also be nice. Anyways I'm hoping somebody will help me. Otherwise I will try WSUS Offline and SpyBot AntiBeacon Sorry for all those questions but I just want to be sure. Really looking forward to your answers. Many thanks in advance

Some guys in this forum were able to succesful integrate Updatepack7r in Windows 7 Pro and the regular versions, i wonder if is posible to integrate in Windows Posready 7?
The only place I found this time to download this is rsload, It starts off at 300kb and then the download slows down to below 100 !!! The magnet link from the hsh has one peer ! What am I missing?
hy all, i have some problems with this new UpdatePack.. The last one went smooth as it could be, But the new one did give me trouble When i started teh Updater, it told me there are 2 things to update..Only 2? Ok, it started with this Update: kb2631813, wich it wasnt able to install, nothing regarding this in the LOG´s, after that it tried another Update: KB2952664, wich also failed i guess, because after that it completed the installation, rebooted and nothing was changed.. I have teh windows update service running, BITS running etc.. so there shouldnt be a problem.. I cant figure out whats happening.. I tried something else then, i downloaded the "windows6.1-kb4462923-x64.msu" from Microderp wich should be the October Update, i downloaded it for Windows 7 64bit since i got win 7 64 bit Pro. Then i tried to install it, and after about 2 min. it told me that this update is not for my system... WTF?!?!??! So, im pretty helpless at the moment, if someone could help me or point me in the right direction id really apprichiate it... If you guys need something, just tell me, ill upload it as quick as possible.. Greetz, BeTa edit: is there a way to export the installed Updates as a list or TXT file? Maybe im missing something i cant spot, so i would post my installed updates here, maybe some of you professionals ( ) can spot the error...
I don't understand anything from your post. Simplix Updatepack will always show a log, please post the log, it's in "c:\windows". If you are regularly using the pack it will only install 2 updates, the ones shown in the changelog: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...win7-distribution.45005/page-103#post-1472207 ps, windows 7 updates are all the same for all windows 7 sku's.
Ha, thanks, i didnt know the logs are in /Windows.. i did search for them... Sorry, for confusing you , english is not my native Language.. So i guess ill post the LOG´s.. ok here we go, INSTALL LOG: Code: The installation log of UpdatePack 7 / 2008 R2 / 18.8.20 Installation start time - 1:46:03 12.10.2018 Operating system - Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64 KB2631813 - Der angeforderte Vorgang war nicht erfolgreich. Thanks for your help
so when a new version comes out and you just integrated the previous version with your distribution (install.wim) so you have an updated iso, can you use the new version same as before to integrate only the new updates to the distribution ?? or you have to start all over again with an untouched iso of windows 7 ?? UpdatePack7R2.exe /ie11 /WimFile=C:\w7\sources\install.wim /Index=* does it work with an already updated distribution by UpdatePack7R2 before ??
