The same issue with 19.8.22 version when i use integrietmp.bat file. It work with integrie.bat file Instructions: These batch files are used for easier integration of Simplix UpdatePack7R2 into Windows 7 image (edition of your choice). Just run batch of your choice and wait till finished. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are 4 batch files: "integrietmp.bat" -Will integrate updates and Internet Explorer 11. Process is using folder "Mount" as /Temp folder. "integrie.bat" -Will integrate updates and Internet Explorer 11. Process is not using folder "Mount" as /Temp folder. Windows defalt temporary folder is used instead. "integrtmp.bat" -Will integrate updates without Internet Explorer 11. Process is using folder "Mount" as /Temp folder "integr.bat" -Will integrate updates without Internet Explorer 11. Process is not using folder "Mount" as /Temp folder. Windows defalt temporary folder is used instead. ------------ How to use: ------------ Download Simplix_Batches_Win7.zip and extract it. Will see several folders: 1) In folder "exe" - put file Simplix UpdatePack7R2-....exe 2) In folder "wim" - put install.wim file, after extracting it from ISO. 3) Folder "Mount" - will be used as temp folder (leave it as it is) 4) Right-click and Run as administrator one of the "Integr__.bat" batch versions of your choice. 5) After starting will see dialogue with info on index numbers (Windows 7 versions) in install.wim Press any key 6) Type the version of Simplix UpdatePack7R2 that you are using, for example 14.5.1 (Only numbers, don't type part of the name such as "UpdatePack7R2-") Press Enter key 7) Type any index number of your choice 1,2, 3, or other, as seen under 5). Note: To integrate updates in all indexes, don't put number, just type * (when using "*" to update all indexes in image, after finishing update process, delete file "ei.cfg" in Windows 7 ISO /sources folder (Open ISO with UltraISO or mount it, to find this file). When ei.cfg is deleted, during Windows 7 Setup all images versions - Home, Pro, Ultimate etc will be shown). Press the Enter key information will be displayed about what's in and what was introduced earlier. 8) When ready, press Enter to start integration process. Just wait! It will automatically mount, integrate and save image.Pop-up dialogue with log will show, press any key to finish. Don't forget to return back updated install.wim in Windows ISO (with UltraISO or other mounting program). Save ISO and test it with Virtual Box or VMware.
I confirmed the August rollup being bad and possibly this update pack release, as Windows update prompts me to install other updates that should be there. (On my other PC) Only 19.7.15 works correct for me!
Even after using the installer on Windows 7 Professional x64, in addition to continuing to display the latest cumulative quality and security update, Windows Update also prompts you to install the following important and recommended updates: KB3124280 KB3123479 KB3076949 KB3072630 KB3022777 KB2846960 KB2813347 KB2798162 KB2676562 In addition to these cited updates running Dism ++, the following updates are found: KB2809215 KB2893519 KB2908783 KB2912390 KB3020388 KB3031432 KB3035126 KB3060716 KB3071756 KB3075226 KB3080079 KB3110329 KB4099950 KB4463376 (IE 11; not superseded until this date). In addition, there are two more IE 11-specific updates that also haven't been replaced, but are not necessarily offered by Windows Update: KB4032782 (DISM only) KB4088835
Updates left on WU after using simplix pack will either be unneeded/superseded/replaced or contain telemetry, or just to satisfy WU.
@Bruno A. Vieira IMHO, if you're using the update pack, I see no good reason why you'd want WU to be "happy".
