That question was already commented several times. Again, untouched ISO is recommended, but you could always experiment on previously updated image
I wanna ask, where to put that batch file and path for this? I have all ready updated my Windows files and images(x32 and x64) are open. Path for windows images are C:\
Like I said, make a folder called WIM. Put batch file into this location... Make a Sub-Directory called x86-Drivers and a 2nd one called x64-Drivers. Place your drivers in these folders. Run the batch file for the 32-bit drivers. Then repeat for the 64-bit drivers. For my guide I was only updating Boot.wim, index: 2 If you wanted to add in drivers for each install.wim then you will need to edit accordingly... I have not done this as I add drivers at the end as I want my image to be "generic"
Just a heads up. Update7Live is able to scan for integrated updates and integrate only the new updates so the image should work just fine.
I have been using this pack for a while and think it is great. I mostly do W7 Pro so I only update that version. I DISM all including IE11. I then use Wintoolkit to do a few small tweaks and sometimes add drivers. The only problem I have ever come up with is with IE11. When I start IE11 I constantly get the new browser message. I can go into gpedit and fix it but I do not see anyone else that is having this problem. Any ideas on how I can correct this?
It's normal if you see message for the first time. Certainly there some tweaks if you don't want that.
I have the same problem sometimes (on new installs with an updated WIM). If I uninstall, then reinstall IE11 the problem disappears (can't remember if you need to open IE8 to go through first-run wizard). I noticed it usually happens if I use WsusOfflineUpdate (.NET 4.5.1, DX, VC++...) before opening IE11 for the first time. If I open IE11 first thing after install, and then use WsusOfflineUpdate, it doesn't happen.
No idea if stated anywhere else in this thread (did not read every page), but it does not work if runas admin user It ONLY works if run while logged as admin user. Runas always produces message that the system needs to be restarted to continue. sebus
Check again, it is impossible to install anything as a just "restricted user", if you have nothing to add then do say nothing
