@abbodi1406 agreed with me publishing all his WA Addons here on MDL: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-install-wim-esd-creation.79421/#post-1516362 And here you can find all in one package: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-install-wim-esd-creation.79421/#post-1516361
Hi, after using simplix, i noticed that .Net 4.8 has not been integrated ? why ? is there a way to integrate .NET 4.8 using updatepack7R2 ? if so, how ?
i already integrated updates through updatepack7R2 except Net 4.8 so i just put the needed WA next to updatepack7R2 then run again : Code: UpdatePack7R2.exe /ie11 /WimFile=C:\install.wim /Index=* and then .NET 4.8 will be integrated in all indexes besides all updates already integrated ?
yeah it didn't work, an error message appears saying that integration can't happen on cumulative updates so i had to start again the procedure from the beggining hopping that Net 4.8 will be integrated too. i will report back later, Thank you.
okay so after putting the needed WA next to updatepack7R2, the integration procedure finished correctly but after looking to log file, i haven't seen NET 4.8 updates and after installing the win7 iso with created install.wim, i wanted t o check if NET .4.8 will be listed in installed updates (KB4532941, KB4503575...) and i haven't seen any of those so it seems that NET 4.8 haven't been integrated or maybe i missed something. edit : i did the test for win7 pro x86
so you need to put NET 4.8 updates next to Updatepack (which should be logical if you think about) so what's the point of putting WA addons next to updatepack ?
Seems not to stick, the dotnetfx48 WA needs to be next to the updatepack, just the same as you did with the other 2.
okay but where is the dotnetfx48 WA , it is not available in the link you posted couples of hours ago.
Because it is that way, always best to install the original Bypass by @abbodi1406 when updates fail or aren't offered on WU. Simplix made the pack to actually stop using WU entirely, but by using the new monthly packs + WA's (if needed).
@Enthousiast / @shhnedo, thank you for the links & info. I got the necessary addon .wa, put it in the same folder as the updatepack, and re-ran the updatepack. Windows Update is no longer nagging me. Thanks again!
