Updated the OP with updatepack 21.6.10: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...egrate-hotfixes-into-win7-distribution.45005/
I have installed UpdatePack7R2-21.5.12 on the 9th of June. I ran into some memory issues afterwards though my ram is 16 GB. I am running a x64-based System. The process that was slowing the PC was WmiPrvSE in the beginning and it was also using all of the CPU. Now it’s Bitdefender’s bdservicehost.exe and the browser and my PC freezes sometimes every day or so since the update. I have closed the browser and it seems bdservicehost.exe was using around 5.5 GB of Ram all on its own. Some of the solutions online led me to try DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth But it leads to: Error 87 The restorehealth option not recognized. It seems Win 7 doesn’t have the System Update Readiness tool, so what do you guys suggest?
Hey @yozzcta Thanks for replying. I have checked this link, noticed this one is the latest: System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB947821) [October 2014]. I clicked on it, and instead of a single exe, I got over 20 of them. Is there a right order to run them?
Users are requested to Pl match the hash strings if they are downloading updatepack from mirror links posted by others. Enthy posted links plus mirrors are always good to go hence i have posted this comment for other users who are sharing links from unreliable sources.
@mdl052020 I've checked @alnaloty's mirror, and apart from the file name, the file hasn't been tampered at all.
I use the small UpdatePack7R2+.exe downloader file to obtain the most current version. That should prevent it from being hacked or tampered with before obtaining it.
i install this latest updatepack on my windows 7 ultimate x64 ISO 2011 and i have my admin account disable =(
