    See my previous (reply f33nix)
    Yes I realize, as already stated I spend some time (my Russian language skills are kind of rusty) at a UA/RU Simplix Pack support forum and OSzone.net forum. Going through threads, 'reading' posts but was not able to find anything useful on the issue.
    See my previous (reply f33nix)
    See my previous (reply f33nix) ...if I find the source, I'll find the solution. ;)

    Thanks for your wishes.

    @Bytebuster So I see you are now going to use an 8.1 machine to build the install.wim this time.

    I will run down 1 time more what I did:
    1. Downloaded update pack from the Mega link (did not hash verify as I have used many times before and checked hashes normally each time - I skipped for speed)
    2. Downloaded the same Windows 7 source, I did verify the hash before I started.
    3. Just put the update pack and the install.wim into C:\WIM together (I never put any files into the root of the system drive ever)
    4. Ran using the shown command line.
    5. Used ImgBurn to make bootable ISO.
    6. Loaded into VirtualBox and though I do not speak a word of Dutch I made the install/screenshots.

    I did not take this screenshot of install history, but it was empty list so skipped it.

    Sorry if I have repeated myself to you, but at least it should be clear what I have done compared to you.
    Only thing I see you did different was you ran the Updatepack from root of the drive... though it should not make a difference, perhaps move it to WIM folder or some other name that suits you.

    Update

    Simplix replied to my previous PM.

    As it seems I don't have to feel bad about wasting his time. :D

    @trangk59b
    Please be more precise.
    If you refer to screen-shots can find them chronologically in earlier posts.

    * Update 1/2

    Not finding the culprit bothered me, so I couldn't wait until the weekend to continue my tests.

    Last night I used Windows 8.1 working environment / ADK - SDK and integrated the Simplix Pack to the Windows 7 source.

    Earlier this evening, after work, I build the ISO and performed a full install on a clean HDD.
    Success, no errors.

    So I knew the issue had to be related to my Windows 7 working environment.

    Either a weird problem with Windows 7 DISM, SDK or supplement OR some problem related to the 'Dutch localization'.

    * Update 2/2

    I logged in to my account @oszone.net to inform Simplix about my findings;

    Lo and behold, there was a PM waiting for me... after thorough testing Simplix had come to the same conclusion, found the culprit AND a solution!

    Great news!! :)

    I'm going to test the 'new and improved' Simplix Pack this weekend on my Windows 7 working environment, but I'm confident the issue is sorted!

    Thanks mate, I'm really happy Simplix's efforts and thorough testing confirmed my suspicions.

    Glad Simplix found a solution; I'm going to run the 'test-build' of the new Simplix Pack this weekend but I'm sure the problem is *or will be* sorted.

    Creds go to Simplix!

    Of course I will post the results. ;)

    I am glad everything is solved now.:biggrin: I knew Simplix would sort it out. Thank you guys!

    PS Now I see Win 8 is less buggy than Win 7 for deployment tasks

    Test results of 'test Simplix Pack' on (Dutch) Windows 7 hosts & source.

    Promissed extensive testing of the new and improved 'test Simplix Pack'.

    Used serveral Windows 7 working environments I have at my disposal. (All running Dutch Pro VL or Ultimate)

    *
    Specs of the used host machines are completely different*

    Used the same source as before: nl_windows_7_professional_with_sp1_vl_build_x86_dvd_u_677812

    Procedure went flawless everytime, successfully integrating the 'test Simplix Pack' and building the ISO

    View attachment 29631 - View attachment 29632 - View attachment 29633

    Next I 'burned' the newly created ISO to a USB-pendrive and performed a full install of the updated OS on clean HDD's / SSD's of the target machines.

    *Specs of the used target machines are completely different*

    After installation, Windows reports correct! Successful every time! :)

    This is great news and I'm happy with the results! :D

    Kudos to Simplix!

    Having said that, I'm not done yet. ...I used the same source every time; I'm currently in the process of applying the new and improved 'test Simplix Pack' on all 5 indexes of the Dutch Windows 7 SP1 U retail ISO.
    ...the whole procedure including testing is going to take its sweet time though.:yes:

    I'm fairly sure the problem is solved and I won't find any irregularities, but hey... I just don't like half measures, I'm gonna make sure. ;)

    Report back when finished.
