Can you show us some more info, like a screenshot of the error and the "info" window of your install?
The first part (dism /online /norestart /remove-package /packagenameackage_for_KB4091290~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.0) | Error:0x800f0805 | didn't work so I tried the second one (dism /online /norestart /add-package /packagepath:windows6.1-kb4019990-x64.cab) | Error: 3 | and it also didn't work. Updater still loops on that 1 update mentioned previously

Had already decided to run WU before I saw your reply. All seemed well but on reboot there was a reversion. For WUI always use bypass with .net entry removed for the first run, Thanks
@Enthousiast ...sorry for delay in replying. It seems my OS had other issues so I did a repair install using my W7 install disk with SP1 integrated. Took forever, well over 8 hours. Should have done some disk cleanup beforehand. Simplix updater now works on the repaired OS. I used the March 2022 edition of Simplix to update the system but forgot about the Net Framework updates. Nothing happened at first, but now I get a warning message that Net needs to be repaired. I am not connected to the Net with my W7 machine since I still need to setup networking, so the Net repair tool is likely stalled trying to connect to Windoze updates. I recall seeing something mentioned about a separate pack for Net framework updates. I am currently researching that. Thanks for your reply.
ESU for Windows 7 ends in january 2023 i hope simplix developers will take Posready hotfixes until october 14 2024
