    Hello,

I trying to use this pack on a Windows 7 Enterprise Sp1 iso file. I have extracted the files to a temp directory then I run the program :

    UpdatePack7R2-14.9.15.exe /ie11 /WimFile=D:\W7Temp\sources\install.wim /Index=*

When I start it I get the following screen :
And then nothing happens. What could be the problem ?

It's not problem of the Pack. You probably are giving command second time without waiting for the first time to start.
But try to break process. Restart system than use on command prompt: Dism /Cleanup-Wim to clean eventually mounted images. Delete extracted windows from w7temp, extract another one again. Start the integration all over again.

    Hallo,
I run the same problem when trying to unpack to a temp folder.
    updatepack7r2 /temp c:\temp or d:\temp7

    Let me check.

EDIT: Simplix cannot confirm the problem, and suggests to reboot the system.

I myself tried Temp command and no problem
    Code:
    UpdatePack7R2-14.9.15.exe /ie11 /Temp=c:\temp /WimFile=c:\W7\sources\install.wim /Index=5

    UpdatePack7R2-14.9.15-problem?

    Hello,
I posted this earlier, but please forget it !!
I have re-run UpdatePack for Windows 7 Professional and all is ok:)
The number of installed updates - 161
Operation of the program has been successfully finished

    --
    this was original post:
    believe I have a problem:
    --
With august 2014 update pack I get (from UpdatePack7.log):
    The installation log of UpdatePack 7 / 2008 R2 / 14.8.20
    Operating system - Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64
The number of installed updates - 153
Operation of the program has been successfully finished
    --
With september 2014 update pack I get (from UpdatePack7.log):
    The installation log of UpdatePack 7 / 2008 R2 / 14.9.15
    Operating system - Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64
The number of installed updates - 140
Operation of the program has been successfully finished
    --
(Note:I do not integrate IE11, since I prefer firefox)
    --
In both cases I have used 100% identical commands for integration and identical, original win7 sp1 install.wim
What confuse me is that with september 2014 update pack there is much less installed updates !
I made an updated win7 dvd and tested it in vmware, and in fact after checking win update I get:
14 updates (not counting IE and netframework):
    7 optional updates
    --
    Any idea(s)?
    thanks for looking into this
    regards, sedmi

if i run the cmd command
    unpack7r2.exe /temp=c:\temp or l:\temp7
it's starts to install, instead of unpacking...please help

Yeah, as abbodi1406 is saying, why are you unpacking?
But tell me, exactly what procedure and commands are you using and in what order?

In this moment there is no Pack for Win 8.1. In the future? You have to ask Simplix

    Does
    Code:
    dism /Get-MountedWimInfo
    show any mounted images?

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

It shows No Mounted Images found.

    EDIT:

I tried it on a clean Windows 7 VM and it works now. Thanks.
